About Me

My name is A.J. Stark

While I may be the new guy in town when it comes to my company, I actually have over 25 years of experience DJing.

​My story actually starts in 1995 in Raleigh, NC.  A friend of mine was a DJ in a local club and would let me DJ while he was taking a smoke break and/or talking to a woman lol.  I was quickly hooked on the energy I got off of the crowd and the enjoyment that I got seeing people dancing and singing along to their favorite song.

​

When I moved back to Atlanta in 1997, I dabbled in DJing in various local bars and nightclubs until I moved to Louisiana in 2005.

While in Louisiana, I decided to transition from bars and nightclubs to forming my own company, AJ The DJ Entertainment, which was in business from 2012-2024.

​

When I decided to move back to Atlanta in 2025, I discovered that there was already a AJ The DJ Entertainment in Georgia, so I decided to call my business A.J. Stark Entertainment to avoid confusion.

​

I am a fully licensed and insured LLC in Georgia.  I look forward to helping you create the perfect wedding or event.
